History of the Universe

Our Universe

Until now, there are many speculations and theories raised concerning how the world began. Influential scientists made many attempts to explain the phenomenon. The church also has something to say regarding the history of the universe. The history of the universe is unknown and the only thing that the people can do is to rely on the remnants and to the elements that are present in the space believing that it is part of the history.

Big bang is one of the mainstream theories regarding the history of the universe. In the theory, it is stated that there was an explosion in space, which put a start in time. The cause of the expansion is still unknown. Inflation, which is a process of mobilizing certain energy in the space, ended only when a more familiar type of energy was formed. The universe was cooled after inflation. The basic forces of gravity were formed: gravity, strong and weak forces that connect the atoms and electromagnetic forces. Fundamental particles were then formed such as neutrinos, photons, electrons and quarks, as well as the protons and neutrons. The universe that we know now has taken shape after. The presence of the elements helium and hydrogen in the universe is the strong evidence that assumes the validity of the big bang theory. Millions of years after the explosion, the force of gravity greatly influenced the irregularity of density of gases. It caused the creation of stars. The group of stars formed the early galaxies. Many years after, the stars collapsed into each other, forming supernovas and black holes. Supernova produced common elements: iron, calcium, nitrogen, carbon and oxygen. Heavier elements were also created such as uranium, lead, silver and gold. Milky Way is only one of the many galaxies, which were formed in the early years. Within the spiral arm of the Milky Way, the sun was formed. Through the debris and gas that swirled, asteroids, moons and planets coincide. The sun has a powerful radiation coming out of its poles. It is estimated that our galaxy will be also emerged with the neighboring galaxy- Andromeda in the next three billion years. The two galaxies can either merge into one or they rip each other apart. With the observation made in the behavior of the heavenly bodies, it is also said that the vacuum energy will overtake the pull of gravity. In the future, it is quite possible that the bond that holds the clusters of galaxies will weaken. The neighboring galaxies will be so far away that it will not be visible anymore.

The study of the history of the universe is given importance to uncover some still unknown mysteries in our planets. Discovery of the elements prove to have, bit by bit, lead to some important facts. The future of our planet is still unknown because of mysterious emergence or the creation of the world. Studies are still ongoing with the hope that they can find the real history of the universe.
